A community for collegiate fitness directors.
In February 2017, Steven Trotter launched an online community for fitness directors who work in the collegiate setting to come together for networking, friendship, and shared knowledge in resources. Throughout his career in collegiate recreation, he noticed one recurring theme; many fitness directors had educational backgrounds in exercise science, health promotion, or related fields yet were in a position where they had to "manage a business." As a result, Steven became highly skilled in the business side of the collegiate fitness industry throughout his career and felt that he could be a resource to others.
He launched the online community as a Facebook group. It quickly gained traction and maintained more than 250 active members through 2020. Then, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early 2020, the group took off and doubled in size. We now have well over 500+ active members in the group who contribute regularly.
