Will Trent, MS
Will's fire-burning passion revolves around enhancing the aesthetic of brands, specifically in the fitness and wellness industry. He currently serves as the Interim Associate Director at Virginia Tech Recreational Sports. In his free time, Will serves as a freelance content creator and marketing consultant.
Will holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology from James Madison University, where he focused specifically on Sport and Recreation Leadership. He served as a two-year Graduate Assistant for James Madison University Recreation, where he Motivated Madison Into Motion amidst their massive facility expansion and renovation. While at JMU, Will was elected to serve as NIRSA's Student Leader. As the national representative for a 5,000-member Association that is the leader of Collegiate Recreation, he served as the leader to the entire student membership and chaired the NIRSA Student Leadership Team. Previously, Will served as the Marketing Coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and as the Marketing Assistant for Duke University's Recreation and Physical Education Department. A true Hokie at heart, Will graduated from Virginia Tech in 2014 with a B.A. in Communications. He was a member of the Student Alumni Associates, known as "The 100 Most-Spirited Hokies." Will also worked in Athletics Marketing as an intern, as well as with VT Rec Sports as a Marketing Assistant and Facilities Supervisor. |
